Nasty people

I'm sure all of us have met nasty people before. Sometimes, you cannot understand their intention by the way they conduct themselves or even the words they speak or type. Being nasty is a defence mode one endorses in an act of defense but to me, it's just a way to tell others that "I'm insecure". This just shows their foolishness. But I have learnt never to give in the nasty people but rather treat the event as objectively as possible but one thought "should i treat them like an object as well? Ponders....................
